PSAA is owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The high school is fully accredited by the following organizations:

PSAA holds a Certificate of Private School Approval from the WA State Board of Education, meeting all conditions of Chapter 28A.195 RCW and Chapter 180-90 WAC.

Adventist Accrediting Association
PSAA holds continued accreditation from the Accrediting Association of Seventh-day Adventist Schools, Colleges, and Universities.

Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools
PSAA (grades 9–12) meets Middle States' standards for educational quality and accountability to students and the profession.

PSAA meets NCPSA and Adventist Accrediting Association standards for high-quality education.
