Choir Teacher
Mrs. Josie graduated from Walla Walla University with a B.A. in communications and a minor in music, with an emphasis in vocal performance. She is a natural born storyteller and that translates to everything that she does. She loves to tell stories through writing, music, and in the way she communicates day to day. She has been involved in music since the age of 7 when she learned how the violin through fiddle style, and has since been in an orchestra, band, and choir. Mrs. Josie loves to learn new instruments and try new things.
Mrs. Josie believes that music is meant to be both fun and inspirational. Her goal is to leave each one of her students with a love and knowledge of music, no matter the way they decide to use it.
Mrs. Josie grew up on a farm and misses the wide open space. But she is enjoying the adjustment with her husband, Coach Nye. They live in Kirkland, WA.
